Where Venus is the romance, Jupiter is the blessing over the marriage: its grace, its growth, its good fortune. What it does — and doesn't — mean
First, these are natural significators — they mean love and marriage in every chart, which is exactly why they're so useful. But a single afflicted benefic is not a verdict. It's one factor among the houses, the Ashtakoota, and the Navamsa (where Venus's placement matters enormously for marriage).
Second, it's a tendency, not a sentence. A tested Venus or Jupiter describes the terrain love crosses for you — not whether you arrive. The benefics name your gifts and your growth edges; the relationship is still yours to live.
